Aidan Shilson-Thomas is a Researcher at the independent think tank, Reform, which is the leading Westminster think tank for better public services. Before joining Reform he was a member of the Independent Monitoring Board at HMP Bristol, where he was responsible for monitoring the welfare of prisoners and prison performance. Aidan has a strong interest in finding solutions to the pressing challenges facing the prison and probation services.
Aidan is conducting research on how through the gate services could be made to better meet the needs of offenders. In addition, he currently works on projects covering homelessness prevention and service commissioning.
