Hanah Sfar-Gandoura

Service Development Lead - Takeda UK

Hanah is the Service Development Lead at Takeda, where she has worked since June 2017. The function of Hanah’s team is to work jointly with the NHS to improve services for patients with a diagnosis of ADHD. The service development team is non-promotional and sits within the medical affairs department. Prior to joining Takeda, Hanah worked as an ADHD Nurse Specialist for the Adult ADHD Service and Children & Young People’s ADHD Service at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. She qualified as a mental health nurse in 2003 and as an independent non-medical prescriber in 2010.

Hanah worked on acute adult admission units, she had a specialist interest in forensic psychiatry- working at a medium secure unit and a prison. Hanah’s passion for service development began in 2007 when she set up a nurse led primary mental health service within the prison service. In 2009, Hanah specialised in ADHD, setting up a nurse led service that bridged the gap between CAMHS and Community Paediatrics- joining the adult team in 2015, again setting up the nursing structure in this team.

Hanah has been published on service design and has won regional awards for innovations in disseminating research.
